The world tour aboard the iconic sailing ship Amerigo Vespucci of the travelling exhibition “Italia Geniale“, which landed in Tokyo from 26 to 30 August, continue
The exhibition, which will accompany the Amerigo Vespucci until 2025, will make stops in Singapore, Mumbai, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Durres, and will be an opportunity to show the world some of the most renowned Made in Italy excellences such as our Ghost armchair designed by Cini Boeri, the jewel in the crown of the Villaggio Italia.
On the occasion, special attention was paid to the synergies between Italian and Japanese design, reflecting the leadership position that both design traditions hold globally. Several collaborations have been established by FIAM Italia with Japanese designers and planners, resulting in as many collections that have marked the history and evolution of the Brand over more than 50 years; Inori by Setsu & Shinobu Ito and the new Tau lamp by Ryosuke Fukusada are clear examples.
