FIAM ITALIA NEW PRODUCTS 2020: ECHO COLLECTION

Fiam Italia’s technical and experimental skills contribute to the aesthetic research of Marcel Wanders studio who designed Echo collection, a showcase and a cupboard inspired by the idea of creating a surface that would physically extend out to people, engaging and surprising them.
By pushing the boundaries of artisanal and industrial process, Marcel Wanders studio explores new modelling techniques of the glass, in which craftsmanship and technology meet to shape the distinctive glass surface that characterizes the new fascinating and elegant proposal. The latter is made up of repeated motifs of complex geometric shapes, regular and irregular polygons that become three – dimensional thanks to the innovative glass fusion technique by Fiam.
Marcel Wanders studio realised a contemporary project, in which the print of glass processing contributes to create depth and a multitude of reflections, for a material that wonderfully reflects everything that surrounds it.
